Keep It Safe Campaign![]() Cheerleading, like any sport, has an inherent risk of injury. It is incumbent upon coaches, athletes, parents, administrators, and the medical community to help minimize this risk by taking appropriate action. Through a heightened awareness about cheerleading injuries, an increase in available coaches' training, and recent positive changes in cheerleading safety rules, the risk of injury from participation in cheerleading is lower than many other sports and is trending downward. Still, there is much that can be done to bolster these efforts and continue to provide an outstanding athletic activity for our athletes. Join USA Cheer and our members and help "Keep it Safe".
